With the help of the load profile analysis tool developed by e7, a comprehensive electricity consumption analysis for ten retirement homes with around 1080 residents, in Lower Austria and Vienna, was carried out. This did not require an on-site visit or inspection of the properties.
The total electricity consumption of all homes amounted to 4.1 GWh. At four homes in particular, the electricity consumption analysis has enabled the identification of such great savings potential that the overall potential in relation to all 10 homes has been determined to be at 10.5%.
As a result, ten presentations on the consumption structure and a benchmark report showing the differences between the individual homes were handed over to the client. This also enabled a discussion on the different operating practices.
