InnovateUkraine: Energy projects for the future

We are currently supporting the first round, and the 2nd call for proposals is starting now! This time targeting innovative mid-stage industrial research on low-carbon solutions for the future of the Ukrainian energy supply.

The focus is on:

• Smart green grids
• Renewable generation
• Renewable heat
• Green fuels
• Low-carbon buildings and homes
• Industrial decarbonisation
• Repurposing existing energy infrastructure

Together with our partners from BwB & Headland, we are supporting the current round of commercialization, with projects including investigating how biogas can be integrated into existing gas infrastructure.

In doing so we are helping the funded projects to challenge their competitive market position, and to be ready for the challenges of onward investment.
