After graduating as a mechanical engineer at HTL, Simon Maier completed his bachelor's degree in renewable energies at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Vienna (FHTW) in 2024. He is now enrolled in a master's degree in climate-conscious building technology at the FHTW.
Simon supported the e7 team for the first time in spring 2024 as part of his bachelor's thesis, which dealt with the oversizing of heating and cooling supplies in large-volume buildings.
He prefers to spend his free time in nature, be it on foot or by mountain bike. He also likes to be found in the bouldering hall and is passionate about traveling through Europe by train
