Alessa Klie, MSc.
Research associate
Alessa Klie completed her Bachelor's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Ludwig-Franzens-University in Innsbruck in 2021. She wrote her bachelor's thesis on the effect of blue and green infrastructure on urban ecosystem services, specifically the preservation of urban biodiversity. She completed her international Master's degree in “Natural Resources Management and Ecological Engineering” at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, and at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague in 2024 with her Master's thesis on urban circular economy and nature-based solutions (“Indicator-Based Assessment of the Benefits of Grey and Green Roof Utilizations: A Case Study of Vienna”).
Since October 2022, Alessa has been working as a project support and since May 2024 as a research assistant at e7, where she applies her holistic view of sustainability to national and international projects.
In her private life, she likes to take care of her urban jungle of over 30 house plants, play with her cats “Flora” and “Fauna” or enjoy the beautiful weather while cycling on the Danube Island.
