The Energy Award Vienna was recently presented at WKW. Great energy projects were honoured. Our expert Dr Georg Benke had the opportunity to give a keynote speech on the subject of energy efficiency.

In his presentation, he emphasised the central importance of energy audits for the energy transition and stressed that they are currently undervalued.

Georg made it clear that it is crucial to create a greater understanding of the value of energy audits among decision-makers in politics and business. Only with broad support could this instrument become an important lever for sustainable energy efficiency.

His appeal aims to raise awareness of energy audits and strengthen their role in promoting the energy transition.
