Work contract to support an ongoing project on energy performance certificates: Data collection and analysis
e7 is an independent research and consulting company specializing in energy-efficient construction and refurbishment as well as the energy industry. As part of a project on energy certificates in Austria, we are now looking for project support in the area of data collection and analysis on a contract basis.
WHAT TASKS CAN YOU EXPECT?

Evaluation of Austrian standards for the creation of energy performance certificates (in particular ÖNORM B 8110-1, ÖNORM B 8110-2, ÖNORM H 5050, ÖNORM H 5056, ÖNORM H 5057, ÖNORM H 5058, ÖNORM H 5059) with regard to the creation of a uniform data structure for the collection of energy performance certificate data

Development of a list of all necessary input parameters (input data to describe a building) to calculate the formulas in the above-mentioned standards

Preparation of the relevant formulas for collecting the necessary data points for an interface definition

For the January to February phase (proof of concept) we are offering a work contract worth around EUR 2,000
-
Provided that the client continues to finance the project, it is possible to subsequently extend the contract for work and services
WHAT YOU BRING ALONG
-
Basic knowledge in the areas of building physics and building technology
-
Basic knowledge of creating energy performance certificates
-
Solid quantitative analysis skills for data evaluation in Excel and interest in working with formulas
for calculating energy performance indicators

Basic knowledge of sustainability and energy efficiency in buildings as well as energy management issues

Ability to work in a team and willingness to work independently
